This group of Butterflies consisted of 100 deep water blue cassette tapes with tracks full of Butterfly Medicine. Each track conisisted of interviews and songs with Indigneous womxn and 2spirits who have started social justice groups and whose work remidiates the various systems they work in. Stoney Edler and Matriach Una Wesley generously opened the space up for our talk and release- a chrysalis of being. This soundwork and activation was our contribution to the exhibtion If the river ran upwards curated by Jacqueline Bell.
